We understand that expanding in a market such as North America requires much more than a competitive product

Expanding Our Presence in North America at IMTS Chicago 2026

From September 14 to 19, we took part in IMTS 2026, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. Participating in one of the world’s leading manufacturing technology events represented a strategic opportunity to bring Helion Tools closer to the North American market.

Our presence at IMTS supported a clear objective: to expand our international network, showcase our capabilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the needs of manufacturers, distributors, and professionals involved in machining, automation, and industrial production.

North America has a strong manufacturing base across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy, mould and die manufacturing, and precision engineering. In these industries, cutting tools have a direct impact on productivity, component quality, and process stability.

Our purpose goes beyond simply supplying a tool. We aim to help our customers reduce downtime, extend tool life, and achieve more efficient and profitable manufacturing processes.

Growing Through Strategic Partnerships

We understand that expanding in a market such as North America requires much more than a competitive product. We need to understand its requirements, provide technical support, and build relationships with partners who have in-depth knowledge of their local industrial markets.

For this reason, our participation in Chicago was also focused on establishing new connections with distributors, industrial partners, and companies interested in adopting high-performance European cutting solutions.

IMTS gave us first-hand insight into the trends transforming North American manufacturing: increased automation, process digitalisation, tighter cost control, and the pursuit of more predictable performance. This evolution is closely aligned with our working philosophy and our commitment to research, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Our presence at the event represents another step forward in Helion Tools’ internationalisation strategy. We aim to continue growing in North America by developing a strong commercial network that combines our manufacturing expertise with responsive, customer-focused service.

We returned from Chicago with a clearer understanding of the market and a firm determination to turn the opportunities identified into long-term business relationships.
